He first started working on tv spots and music videos as an art assistant, a position for which he had to take on many roles. This led to him dabbling in make-up and realizing he had a natural talent for it. And so he began his career as a make-up artist in Mexico City and found success working with brands such as Chanel, Body & Soul, MAC and Lancôme. He also had the opportunity to work on major motion pictures such as Vantage Point before making his move to Montreal.

Being a newcomer on the Montreal scene, Rodrigo has gone from student projects to working with established artists such as Juliana España Keller all to create a name for himself. He was in a project with director Paul Neudorf on a Bravo Canada short film. His latest work combining photography and make-up was with artist Georgina Avila in their project "Princess Madness".

Rodrigo's ultimate goal is to continue honing his craft to eventually be able to create his own art, be it through photography or film. He is currently developing a photo project which will combine his many creative talents to depict his trials as an immigrant artist.
